What is PIVO?
It's a place, or in an existing space (CDI, Bibilothèque, Lobby…)a shelf with useful documentation, a tablet or internet access and above all a person who can guide or accompany the young person who wishes to learn , to commit, a volunteer mission.
The printed cardboard shelf costs 50 €
The purpose of PIVO is :
1. Firstly, to set up a place of information on volunteering and international volunteering
. welcome people wishing to learn about the different possibilities of leaving as a volunteer
. provide future volunteers with complete documentation (organization contact details, selection criteria, kind of mission...)
. help future volunteers to clarify their project so that they can, themselves, select the organizations corresponding to their choice and contact them.
. organize and lead “meetings-discussions” on the theme of volunteering and commitment*
2. On the other hand, be in regular contact with INGO networks (International Non-Governmental Organizations) existing ones and with NGOs (Non-Governmental Organization) capable of hosting volunteers in order to offer the widest possible range of fields in which volunteers can get involved

For the AVE, create the Information Point on Volunteering (BEER) it is to offer everyone an opportunity to participate in the construction of this Europe.
What is volunteering?
There are several forms of volunteering today. What matters is the commitment that brings real personal and human enrichment.
1 – Free volunteering or volunteering . I get involved with others to carry out a solidarity action , help others. It happens throughout life.
2 – Voluntary service institutionalized as civic service, European Solidarity Corps (European Voluntary Service) which may give rise to reimbursement, a bourse, social coverage and count for the lifelong learning path. It is reserved for young people.
3 – The international volunteering which for the development which allows against remuneration to train the populations for their development.
4 – Corporate volunteering which concerns the donation of time or resources within companies for solidarity and humanitarianism, the climate.
5 – Employees of voluntary organizations
In all cases, volunteering is a personal enrichment that allows you to acquire new professional skills, a different know-how, to learn a language, to discover a culture? Experience commitment and project management,…. Present in all areas, it establishes a social link between those who exercise it and those who benefit from it. International volunteering promotes the construction of links between young people with different social and cultural lives.
By weaving these links, international volunteering contributes to the construction of a Europe, of a planet of peoples. Through the mobility of people within the European Union, worldwide, volunteering allows the creation of a strong European civil society and thus guarantees social cohesion and the expression of participatory democracy. The enlargement of the European Union , the entry of other continents into Union policies, collaborative, the crises experienced over the past ten years, climate risks, insecurity, particularly linked to conflicts, pandemics and conflicts and attacks, loss of confidence in the future and fundamental values on the part of young people, lead the AVE to contribute to the revitalization of selfless voluntary commitment by reactivating its tools.
